I have written this article to give you some insight into the beliefs of my wife and I as I believe that it is important to be clear on where we stand and why. I hope this will help you to see that we are people of faith who stand firm on the word of God, believing in the scriptures and with the Lords help apply them to our everyday life.

We believe in Christianity and in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Trinity, one God existing as three divine persons. And Jesus answered him, the first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Mark 12:29

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: Deuteronomy 6:4

I and my Father are one. John 10:30.

We believe that Jesus (YESHUA) is God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1.1.

We believe that Jesus (YESHUA) is I AM.

We believe that Jesus (YESHUA) is the promised Messiah and was sent into the world by the Father, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob.

We believe that Jesus (YESHUA) became our Great High Priest and paid the ultimate and perfect sacrifice and replaced animal sacrifices and became the Lamb of God "who takes away the sin of the world'.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world'. John 1:29. NIV

We believe that we are all born sinners therefore we must become born again believers by believing Jesus Christ was sent by God, was crucified and was raised to life by God on the third day, so we may be saved.

In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. John 3:3

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9, (NIV)

We believe that if you truly give your life to Jesus and meant and believed it, you will act on your beliefs, take up your cross, seek and follow Jesus Christ teachings and strive to make every effort to do his will you are saved.

(Luke 13:24) “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. (NIV)

We believe that we are saved by the grace of God and not by our works.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9. Acts 2:21

We believe that ALL unbelievers stand condemned.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:3.

We believe that Jesus (YESHUA) is the only way to God the Father and to receive eternal life.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14 V 6 New International Version (©1984)

We believe that directly on death that all the souls of born again believers will be raised by Jesus.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Luke 23:43.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 15:44. NIV.

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But fear Him rather who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28

I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not a God of dead men, but of living.' Matthew 22:32 (Y.L.T)

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 2 Corinthians 5:6 - 10

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25

We believe that all the souls of unbelievers remain alive after the first death in 'Sheol, Hades,' 'PIT' Isaiah 14.15 Deuteronomy 32:22 Job 10:21-22 and Matthew 5:22. where the souls of the unsaved dead await Judgment Day, as they stand condemned and reserved in a spiritual prison. 2 Peter 2:9 1 KJV and to reserve the unjust and to keep the unrighteous.

Ezekiel 26:20 then I will bring you down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of long ago. I will make you dwell in the earth below, as in ancient ruins, with those who go down to the pit, and you will not return or take your place in the land of the living.

Lamentations 3:6 He has made me dwell in darkness like those long dead. Lamentations 3:55 I called on your name, O LORD, from the depths of the pit. Psalm 88:6 (New King James Version) You have laid me in the lowest pit, In darkness, in the depths.

We believe that Sheol/ HADES is a prison for lost souls and fallen sprits, why? We believe that because there is solid evidence that Sheol is a place where lost souls and spirits are reserved, as we see in this verse of the Old Testament which gives the clearest prophecy about Lucifer.

The fall of Lucifer Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. 16 “ Those who see you will gaze at you, Isaiah 14:12 to 16 New King James Version (NKJV)

For if God didn't spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 2 Peter 2:4. World English Bible.

Sheol and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. Proverbs 27:20 King James 2000 Bible (©2003)

This confirms with ENOCH who states: Woe to ye, for ye will have no peace.

This confirms with Isaiah 57:21 (NKJV) 21 “There is no peace,” Says my God, “for the wicked.

We do not believe in soul sleep

We believe that "Soul sleep" is simply another term for death of the body, the flesh, just as Jesus said “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. John 11:11 to 14.

We believe born again believers will receive a new glorified body which will be raised back to life, and be reunited with our souls and spirit.

So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 15:42. New International Version (©1984)

We believe that there will be a judgment day when ALL will go before God, Jesus, (YESHUA) on a day called The Day Of Judgement, and will be judged according to their works and deeds and whosoever is not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire which is the second death.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. Who do we believe that Jesus (YESHUA) is?

We believe that Jesus (YESHUA ) was sent by the Father from heaven and as is written in John 1 who in the beginning was the Word who was with God and who is God, WHO is the same yesterday and today and forever, the Anointed One, Immanuel" the Lamb, He is: The I AM. THE GATE John 10:9 I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE John 6:35 I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD John 10:11: I AM THE TRUE VINE John 15:1: I AM FROM ABOVE John 8:23: I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD John 8:12, THE streams of living water. John 7:38 I AM THE SON OF GOD John 10:36: I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE John 11:25 I AM THE GOD OF YOUR FATHERS Exodus 3:15. I AM, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Revelation 22:13 I AM, (YESHUA ) JESUS CHRIST. Acts 9:5:

Jesus, (YESHUA ) HE IS:

God who became a man, which is, and was a miracle, who was the only person to perform ALL miracles, proving he was God. Jesus, (YESHUA ) HE IS:

true and trustworthy." he is the revealer of mysteries who revealed the secrets of his kingdom to the earth. and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace Isaiah 9:6 KJ.

He is the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, Deuteronomy 10:17

He will bring about in his own time--God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 1 Timothy 6:15

for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God. Deuteronomy 7:21

He is the LORD Almighty, wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom. Isaiah 28:29

He is LORD Almighty. 'And in this place I will grant peace,' declares the LORD Almighty." Haggai 2:9

On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:16.

We believe that Jesus Christ (YESHUA ) is The Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price. Matthew 13:44-46.

We believe that Jesus Christ (YESHUA ) is the only one way, the only entrance to, the Father, and the kingdom of heaven and eternal life.

We believe that Jesus is the hidden treasure because although the gospels and the truth within the gospels about Jesus is widely available most of the world do not know Jesus, believe in him, and have not found him which is why Jesus remains the hidden treasure.

“Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you, for everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks the door will be opened.” Matthew 7 v 7

This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never pe rceiving. 15 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them. Matthew 13:13 to 16 New International Version 1984 We believe that the entire Holy Bible is inspired by the true God. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,(2 Timothy 3:16)

Turin Shroud

We, Simon and Emma Brown are proud to support the fact that the Turin Shroud is genuine and is the burial cloth of Jesus, preserved by God as evidence of His time on earth; the scourging, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (YESHUA) the promised Messiah, preserved so that future generations may study it and come to believe and be saved.

We believe this because God, knowing man's rebellious heart, would refuse to believe that he sent his Son to become our Great High Priest, and pay the ultimate and perfect sacrifice, replacing animal sacrifices, and becoming the Lamb of God "who takes away the sin of the world"

We also know that most of the world does not believe that Jesus is Christ (YESHUA) the promised Messiah, just as stated in this verse; 2 Corinthians 4 V 4, "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

We believe the Shroud should not be worshipped in any way, but can be used to strengthen and confirm faith in a tangible, physical way, and help bring others who require proof, to come to a knowledge of Gods saving grace. As born again believers, we worship nothing but Jesus Christ (Yeshua), who is the essence of faith in our hearts, and that through the work of the Holy Spirit each believer has a trusting, abiding faith in Jesus Christ (YESHUA) only. Amen.

Near-Death Experiences

We believe there are many remarkable and genuine cases of Near-Death Experiences and that the Lord God has given many people a vision of heaven and others of hell so that they might repent and turn to Him and be saved.

I went down to the moorings of the mountains; the earth with its bars closed behind me forever; yet you have brought up my life from the pit, O LORD, my God.

Saint Paul also had his own experience.

Paul was stoned to death and had an experience of Heaven, all recorded in the Bible, before being raised back to life.

Many Bible scholars also believe that Paul visited Heaven after his stoning. This is described in 2 Corinthians 12:1- 4:

"Let me tell about the visions I've had, and revelations from the Lord. Fourteen years ago I was taken up to Heaven for a visit. Don't ask me whether my body was there or just my spirit, for I don't know; only God can answer that. But anyway, there I was in Paradise, and heard things so astounding that they are beyond a man's power to describe or put in words (and anyway I am not allowed to tell them to others.

Closing statement

We believe that the Lord God is TRUE Love.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) which is why he is warning us because he desires not one person to perish but all be saved. (1 Timothy 2:4 to 7).

(The Message) 4-7 He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we've learned: that there's one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus, who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth.

We believe that God made us and loves us all and desires that we love him with all our hearts as his saved by grace servants and that when we become born again we desire that no-one would go to Hell.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37. King James Bible

We believe in the Bad news that: Those who refuse to surrender their lives to Jesus and refuse to repent will sadly go to Hades/Hell because of their sins.

Our creator is completely holy and Just – God must punish sin, just as we punish criminals who commit crimes. But the punishment will be fair.

The punishment will not be like most prisons where prisoners play snooker, video games, go to the Gym or watch TV.

Is that a punishment?? NO, God is not mocked. He has made it clear, it will be HELL FIRE just like the rich man in this verse that Jesus told us about, And send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for i am suffering in this flame. Luke 16:24.

Yes this is a prison of crying, and weeping with no sleep or rest, but weeping, and torment, before judgement day, then after judgement day all lost souls will go to the lake of fire.

Do not be deceived God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Galatians 6:7 (NIV)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23.

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sins, it shall die. Ezekiel 18.4 King James 2000 Bible (©2003)

EXCEPT .If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand. We believe in the Good News that if you have found your faith in Jesus, (YESHUA) and now have given up your old life to follow him, you have discovered your own gold mine. The only difference with this gold mine is it is something that you did not have to earn. With this gold mine there is no hard digging or work before you receive and benefit from it. God the Father and Jesus the Son has done the work for you.

This is a FREE gift from the Father to you. A gift that will last for ever but this gold mine is a gift that has feelings, a gift that will love you for eternity. DO YOU KNOW HIM?? HE KNOWS YOU. His name is Jesus, (YESHUA) He created you He died for you, and He is the image of the Father.

If you don't know him, he is waiting for you to say this prayer.

If you say it and mean it he will raise you to everlasting life.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9, (NIV)

Prayer is simply talking to God and you can come to him and ask him into your life today by saying sorry (repenting) for your life and the mistakes you have made and he will accept you and forgive you.

Please pray your prayer as if you mean it and go on to becoming a follower of Christ destined to live a full and abundant life as Jesus promise with the promise of everlasting life in He who gave his life as a ransom for you.
